What is O.T.O.?
Ordo Templi Orientis U.S.A. is the U.S. Grand Lodge (National
Section) of Ordo Templi Orientis, a hierarchical, religious
membership organization. Our mission is to effect and promote the
doctrines and practices of the philosophical and religious system
known as Thelema, with particular emphasis on cultivating the ideals
of individual liberty, self-discipline, self-knowledge, and universal
brotherhood. To this end, we conduct sacramental and initiatory
rites, offer guidance and instruction to our members, organize social
events, and engage in educational and community service activities at
locations throughout the United States.
What is Vortex Oasis?
Vortex Oasis serves the Valley of the South and West Sound.
This includes Tacoma, Olympia, Gig Harbor, Port Orchard, Bremerton,
Poulsbo, and surrounding areas. The encampment was founded in 1992.
At Vortex Oasis we offer a variety of services including, but not limited to,
ecclesiastical ceremonies, lectures, and initiations for the Man of Earth degrees.
The purpose of Vortex Oasis is to offer public celebrations of
Aleister Crowley’s Liber XV: The Gnostic Mass and
promulgate the Law of Thelema.
Ecclesiastical Services

The central activity of the E.G.C. is the celebration of the Gnostic Mass, as set forth in Liber XV, written by Aleister Crowley for O.T.O. and E.G.C. in 1913. Membership in E.G.C. is available through baptism and confirmation.
E.G.C. Baptism and Confirmation
Baptisms and Confirmations celebrate the path of the candidate from birth to magickal adulthood. Confirmation confers lay membership in Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica.
Feasts and Rituals
At Vortex Oasis we perform a variety of rituals: these include celebrations in conjunction with the Feasts of the Times as is written in the Book of the Law:

There are rituals of the elements and feasts of the times.
A feast for the first night of the Prophet and his Bride!
A feast for the three days of the writing of the Book of the Law.
A feast for Tahuti and the child of the Prophet -- secret, O Prophet!
A feast for the Supreme Ritual, and a feast for the Equinox of the Gods.
A feast for fire and a feast for water; a feast for life and a greater feast for death!
A feast every day in your hearts in the joy of my rapture!
A feast every night unto Nu, and the pleasure of uttermost delight!

Initiations
