The O.T.O. is a private, fraternal, membership organization. The United States Grand Lodge recognizes two primary types of membership: initiate and ecclesiastical. More information can be found on the U.S.G.L. website.
Initiate members are those who, having fulfilled the prerequisites, have taken initiation after submitting the appropriate application, dues, and fees.
Ecclesiastical membership runs parallel with initiate membership via the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica (E.G.C.). Lay membership for non-initiates is conferred through the sacraments of baptism and confirmation.
To maintain active status members must be dues current.
Vortex Oasis follows this membership structure as laid out by the Grand Lodge. Generally we categorize members as Active or Affiliate. Active Members are initiates who are dues current. Affiliate Members are non-initiates (ecclesiastical membership) who are dues current. If you are interested in membership and initiation, please contact one of our officers for more information.
Vortex Oasis is a non-profit organization and cannot remain without donations from the public.

Dues, fees, and donations are crucial for the running and maintenance of both the national and local bodies. Your contributions help keep the doors open and the lights on. With your support we are able to give classes, hold socials, provide initiations, and perform regular celebrations of the Gnostic Mass. The O.T.O. is a non-profit charitable organization and is administered by volunteers. Without your support, enthusiasm, and devotion we could not do what we do.
